My name is Cassandra! I am wedding & family photographer in Knoxville, TN. I moved here a few years ago from Tampa Bay, Fl & have fallen in LOVE with this city ever since!
Between the people, and the mountains I have been blessed to have the opportunity to not only call this home but to also start my business in such an amazing place.I live here with my husband Kyle, and our pit bull fur baby, Tank.
I am an avid animal lover & have chosen a plant-based life to lead beginning at age 13. Growing up my Mother was everything I had always aspired to be as an adult. She is who sparked the fire in me to become a photographer, she too had that same creative mind & she is also the reason I’ve chosen to embark on this endeavor of starting my own photography business.
You see, I lost my mother in 2009 after 5 long years of fighting the tragic result of cancer. Through the pain, my mother never faltered in her passion and love for life. Its the lesson I’ve since turned into the foundation of each and every photograph I take.
Photography has been very healing for me..its shown me how to express my feelings, my thoughts and myself in a way that words never could. It has taught me how to see the beauty in the chaos, the inspiration in the mundane & the love in every soul.
I like to see that every photograph has a meaningful composition that has a story to tell and that its not just another photograph. I love learning about people’s stories. Each walk of life is different & we as people have so much we can learn from each other.
My passion is driven off of being able to capture these important moments in the lives of those who are willing to share them with me. Each session whether it be a wedding, family portraits, engagement, birth & even senior sessions is about the opportunity to bond & create a comfortable yet fun environment for everyone involved.
The end goal is to make beautiful memories that can be captured & treasured forever! I dedicate every beautiful image to my mother who gave me the gift of life & love. Although I am based out of Tennessee, I am also more than willing to travel to capture your special day or occasion.
